Terms of Use — Ashtanga Yoga Paris

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Ashtanga Yoga Paris online courses hosted on Thinkific (“Platform”). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account or use our online services.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Account sharing is prohibited. We may suspend or terminate accounts found in violation.

2. Nature of Online Content

We offer two types of online content:

A. Pre-recorded courses

Yoga classes, tutorials, lectures, downloadable PDFs, and related materials.

B. Live online classes

Delivered via Thinkific or third-party tools (e.g., Zoom) integrated with Thinkific.

Both forms of content are covered by these Terms.

3. Payments and Refunds

• Payments are processed securely through Thinkific and its payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
• Prices are listed in the currency displayed on the Platform.
• Access is granted only after successful payment.

Refund Policy
 
 Payment for courses is handled through Thinkific (or its payment processor). All prices displayed on the Platform are final unless otherwise stated.

All sales are final.
 We do not offer refunds for:

• One-time course purchases
• Bundles or packages
• Subscriptions
• Live or pre-recorded classes
• Digital downloads or materials

Once a purchase is completed, no refund or partial refund will be issued, regardless of whether the content has been accessed.

Subscriptions / Recurring Payments

If you subscribe to an online membership or recurring plan:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• You may not cancel or stop the subscription during an active billing cycle.
• No proration, credit, or refund will be provided for unused time.
• You are responsible for managing your subscription settings before the next renewal.

Failed Payments & Right to Terminate Access

If a payment for a subscription or recurring plan fails (for example due to insufficient funds, expired card, or payment processor issues):

1. You will be notified by email and/or via the payment processor to update your payment information.
2. If the payment is not successfully completed within 15 days from the original due date, Ashtanga Yoga Paris reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription and remove access to all associated content.
3. Access may only be restored once all outstanding payments have been received.
4. No refund, credit, or extension will be provided for the period during which access was suspended.

Non-Transferable

All purchases, subscriptions, and passes are strictly for personal use only and cannot be transferred, shared, or reassigned to another individual.

4. License and Use of Content

When you purchase a course, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for your own private practice.

You agree NOT to:

• Share, sell, loan or distribute course materials
• Upload course content to any external site
• Record, screenshot or capture video/audio content
• Use the content for teaching or commercial purposes
• Allow others to access your account

Violation may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Health & Safety / Liability Waiver

By participating in online yoga courses, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Yoga involves physical movement that carries inherent risks, including injury.
• It is your responsibility to practice within your own limits and consult a doctor if you have any medical concerns.
• You assume full responsibility for any injury or health condition that may occur while practicing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashtanga Yoga Paris, its teachers and staff are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from your participation in online courses.

This clause mirrors the liability terms used for in-studio participation, adapted for online practice.

6. Live Classes – Additional Terms

• Live classes may be recorded for later use by Ashtanga Yoga Paris.
• If cameras are enabled, you agree not to record or share the session.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have a safe physical environment to practice in.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful or harmful purposes
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts
• Interfere with platform functionality
• Upload malicious code
• Harass instructors or other users

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

All content—videos, text, images, audio, documents—is the exclusive property of Ashtanga Yoga Paris or licensed to us.

You may not:

• Copy
• Share
• Modify
• Publish
• Redistribute
• Create derivative works

without our written permission.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Payment fails or is reversed
• You misuse content or behave unlawfully

Upon termination, access to all purchased content ends and no refund is provided.

10. Platform Availability

We strive to keep the platform operational but do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted service
• error-free access
• availability of specific content indefinitely

We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove content at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law.
 Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in France.

12. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time.
 The “Effective date” will be updated accordingly.
 Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
