About the course
Since 2008, Linda Munro and Gérald Disse have been training teachers with rigour, heart and commitment, both face-to-face in Paris and Golfe Juan, and online. Internationally recognised for the quality of its teaching, its respectful approach to the body and the tradition of yoga, the school has accompanied hundreds of teachers around the world on the path of transmission. Our training programme is aimed at those who wish to teach yoga in an authentic and grounded way, while developing their personal practice. Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your skills, you'll find here a complete and progressive programme guided by experienced and passionate teachers. This is the module 2 of our 200 hours Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training for those who want a hybrid format : online as well as in person. The hours in this module does not count towards the 300h Teacher Training.
Linda Munro
Linda is an experienced Ashtanga yoga teacher, known for her precision, depth of knowledge, and therapeutic approach to practice. She is the founder of Ashtanga Yoga Paris and the Ashtanga Yoga Paris Teacher Training School, where she has been training aspiring yoga teachers since 2008. With close to 30 years of experience, Linda uses her extensive studies in anatomy, yoga philosophy, yoga wellness, and psychology to offer a unique, mindful practice that supports both physical alignment and mental clarity. Her main Ashtanga teachers are Chuck Miller and Ron Reid. Additionally, she studied with Eddie Stern for four years as well as Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India and New York City.
Gérald Disse
Gérald has been practicing yoga since 1989 and teaching since 1996. He discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in 1991 with Sri K Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India. He spent 8 years traveling to Mysore spending 4 – 6 months per visit to learn more of the system, then going off to some other exotic location to practice daily what Guruji had taught him. Gérald was taught up to the third series and was one of the first French students to have been personally authorized to teach by Sri K Pattabhi Jois. In addition to his Ashtanga practice, Gérald continues to cultivate a meditation practice in the tradition of Kriya Yoga. He has a daily pranayama practice and has been certified to teach kriya and pranayama by his teacher, Sri O.P. Tiwari.
